DHL – Fire Door
Client Brief
For staff safety, the client was required to have an additional fire exit added to their large distribution centre. Rather than have to cut a hole in the concrete wall, A1 Precision Solutions designed a cost-effective solution for the client, a relocatable fire door, which would be fixed to an existing unused roller door.
This was a novel custom fabrication project that helped the client satisfy their safety obligations without having to alter the building.
Scope of Works
- Initial consultation and design services;
- Custom fabrication of wall incorporating a fire door and window;
- Installation at site.
Outcomes
A1 Precision Solutions designed, fabricated and installed the relocatable fire door providing the client with a quick, cost-effective solution for their requirements, a solution which is both functional and non-permanent.
