The Challenges

Client brief:

Gourmet Dinner Services were vacating their old premises in Dingley Village and needed to restore the building to its original condition via an end of lease make good. This large industrial kitchen had multiple temperature controlled areas, food preparation areas, packing areas, offices, and more.

Gourmet Dinner Services were keen to receive their full commercial back from the building owner at the end of their lease, so it was important to them that their make good was completed in a thorough manner. They needed an effortless make good service that would make vacating their old facility easy.

Scope of works:

This make good involved returning Gourmet Dinner Services’ commercial kitchen back to its original state. This involved:

  • Grinding approximately 1250 square metres of concrete flooring and recoating it with two layers of epoxy, as well as repairing minor imperfections and Dynabolt holes.
  • Repair and make good temperature controlled cool and freeze rooms, including supply and install of EPS-FR sandwich panels, door replacement, and fixing of trims.
  • Removal and ready for travel kitchen equipment such as industrial kettles.
  • Cap, make safe, and repair utility connections.
  • Removal of external signage and make good of external surfaces.
